Chris Pratt Makes Plans to Visit Jurassic World!

With major 2014 releases like The LEGO Movie and Guardians of the Galaxy among his upcoming credits, the rapidly rising star that is Chris Pratt continues to shine today as TheWrap reports that the “Parks & Recreation” actor is eyeing a leading role in Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World. The part is said to be the same one recently targeted by Josh Brolin, who will not, after all, be joining the Universal Pictures release.

Irrfan Khan (Life of Pi, The Amazing Spider-Man) is also said to be up for a supporting role. Should they both be cast, Pratt and Khan would join the already-attached Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins.

Steven Spielberg returns to produce the long-awaited next installment of his Jurassic Park series. Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure from a draft of the screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley join the team as fellow producers.

Pratt’s other big screen credits include Zero Dark Thirty, Moneyball and the upcoming Delivery Man.

Jurassic World will be shot in 3D and is scheduled for a June 12, 2015 release.
