WWE Superstar Jey Uso has delivered a message to a top star after WWE RAW. Last week, Bron Breakker announced a tournament to find a new challenger for his Intercontinental Championship. Jey Uso, who joined the tournament, has issued a warning to champion Bron Breakker.
On the latest edition of WWE RAW, the tournament kicked off with two triple-threat matches. In the first match, Jey Uso defeated Kofi Kingston and Karrion Kross. Later, Pete Dunne defeated Xavier Woods and The Miz. Jey Uso and Pete Dunne won their matches and advanced in the tournament. However, both received a message from the WWE Intercontinental Championship Bron Breakker.
On RAW, during a backstage interview, Breakker congratulated them and warned Jey Uso. He warned Jey Uso for name-dropping him last week. He stated that no member of his family has ever beaten a member of Breakker’s family, and Uso will not be the one to do it. Breakker also doubted Pete Dunne’s ability to defeat him.
With Bron Breakker now taking a personal approach with Jey Uso and dismissing Pete Dunne, Jey Uso does not seem ready to back down from Breakker’s words. He has sent a warning to the champion following WWE RAW.
Jey Uso warns Bron Breakker: “I’m gonna be the new Intercontinental Champion”
Former WWE Tag Team Champion Jey Uso has responded to Bron Breakker’s remarks from WWE RAW. In a WWE RAW Talk segment, Uso addressed Breakker’s comments about family, asserting that personal rivalries are secondary when it comes to their one-on-one match. He made it clear that his focus is on becoming the new Intercontinental Champion.
He stated, “Man, I’m feeling good. I went there and I did what I said and said what I said and said what I did. I went out there and got the W. I told Bron [Breakker] what time it was. If he want to talk about family, that’s cool. Talk about watch my mouth, hey, Bron, my daddy been whooping your daddy’s ass since we were kids, okay. But check it out though, Uce. Ain’t gonna be no family. When it’s go time, it’s one-on-one. When it’s go time, it’s me and you, Uce. But when it’s go time, I’m gonna be the new Intercontinental Champion.”
Jey Uso and Pete Dunne will face two more competitors, yet to be determined, as they advance to the tournament finals. The finals will take place on the September 9, 2024 edition of WWE RAW. The upcoming matches will feature Ilja Dragunov, Dragon Lee, and Dominik Mysterio in one triple-threat match and Bronson Reed, Ludwig Kaiser, and Sheamus in another.
