The former members of The Judgment Day, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, may have found a new ally in WWE RAW star CM Punk. At WWE SummerSlam, The Judgment Day faced turmoil when Dominik Mysterio betrayed Rhea Ripley and sided with Liv Morgan.
Following Dominik Mysterio’s betrayal of Rhea Ripley, the leader Finn Balor also turned on Damian Priest during his match against Gunther, resulting in Priest losing his WWE World Heavyweight Championship. After WWE SummerSlam, The Judgment Day added Liv Morgan to their faction, leading to a feud with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley.
In recent weeks on WWE RAW, the new version of The Judgment Day has been targeting Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. While Priest and Ripley have gained the upper hand at times, this week’s WWE RAW saw The Judgment Day using their numerical advantage to overpower them. However, Priest and Ripley potentially find support in CM Punk, who recently teased forming a new faction and suggested a name for it.
What name did CM Punk suggest for his potential new faction?
CM Punk recently teased the formation of a new faction with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. Known for his successful leadership of factions, Punk previously led The Straight Edge Society in 2009, a group known for its members who abstained from alcohol and drugs. Later, in the late 2010s, Punk joined The Nexus, replacing its leader Wade Barrett, and becoming the new head of the faction.
Given Punk’s strong track record in faction leadership, he could offer valuable support to Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley as they face challenges from the new Judgment Day. Punk hinted at creating a new faction with Priest and Ripley, naming it the Quad Terror Squad. He posted a photo on his Instagram Story featuring the trio, with WWE backstage interviewer Cathy Kelly also visible in the image.
Although the photo seems friendly, it will be intriguing to see if it leads to the actual formation of a new faction. Only time will tell.
