Former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy, who joined AEW in 2022, is set to leave Tony Khan’s promotion. Hardy made his debut on an episode of AEW Dynamite, where he came to the aid of his brother Matt Hardy.
Since joining AEW in 2022, Hardy has encountered challenges in reclaiming the success he experienced in his earlier wrestling career. Adding to the hurdles, Hardy faced legal issues outside the wrestling realm during his time at AEW. Despite this, he made his return to wrestling; however, he never captured any gold in the promotion.
Back in April, Jeff Hardy’s brother, Matt Hardy, left AEW after opting not to re-sign with the promotion. Matt, who previously wrestled in TNA, made his debut at the Rebellion pay-per-view, attacking the champion Moose. The latest reports suggest Jeff, similar to Matt, has decided not to re-sign with AEW when his contract expires.
According to Fightful Select behind paywall, former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy’s AEW contract expires on June 14. While AEW considered adding time due to his injuries, it appears that won’t happen. Furthermore, it was revealed by TNA sources that the promotion is interested in bringing back Jeff Hardy, given his history with the promotion.
Meanwhile, Matt Hardy is set to challenge Moose for the TNA World Championship on the TNA Against All Odds pay-per-view on June 15. It is the same night Jeff Hardy becomes a free agent. It will be interesting to see if Jeff Hardy returns to TNA this weekend at Against All Odds.
Will Jeff Hardy appear at TNA Against All Odds?
AEW star Jeff Hardy is set to become a free agent on June 14. This raises questions about whether he is on the verge of returning to TNA and joining his brother, Matt Hardy. Amongst speculations, the latest reports from PWInsider suggest that Jeff Hardy is making his return to the promotion this weekend at Against All Odds. The reports further reveal that his role in Against All Odds is currently unknown.
If the reports of Jeff appearing at TNA Against All Odds come to fruition, fans at the show are in for a treat.
