Former WWE United States Champion Ricochet is reportedly seeking a new chapter in his wrestling career. His contract expires this summer, and he’s expected to leave WWE upon its expiration. Following the news of Ricochet’s departure, fans are curious. They wonder why the high-flying wrestler is leaving the promotion, especially since his fiancée, Samantha Irvin, still works in WWE.
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry recently shared his thoughts on WWE’s missteps with Ricochet. During a recent episode of ‘Busted Open Radio,’ he discussed how Ricochet was often overshadowed by others. Henry also pointed out instances where Ricochet should have stood up for himself.
He stated, “He can very easily be put in the shadow of people because Ricochet is a good guy.” Henry continued by saying, “He’s very professional, and he also don’t like confrontation and making waves. The squeaky wheel, he is not the squeaky wheel, and if there was ever a case for him to be one, I could point out about three times that he should have said, ‘No, I’m not f**king losing to him. If he can beat me up, then, yeah, but no. I’ve been doing business and you’re all going to kill me off.’ I would have told them, ‘You’re going to kill me off.”
Ricochet made his final appearance in WWE
Ricochet, who reportedly has already given his notice to WWE, possibly made his final appearance. Ahead of WWE Raw, reports emerged that Ricochet would be making his final appearance on the show. Recently, he was brutally attacked by Bron Breakker following his match against Ilja Dragunov.
Breakker took out former United States Champion by slamming him onto production trucks and power slamming him on top of a car. This led to WWE backstage crew intervening in the chaotic situation. Ricochet was then taken out on a stretcher to an ambulance. With Ricochet making his final appearance, it will be interesting to see where he lands next in his professional wrestling career.
