Roxanne Perez Slams CM Punk Following WWE NXT Battleground 2024

WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez had some words for CM Punk following NXT Battleground 2024. The show was historic as it marked the first collaboration between WWE and UFC, both under TKO. NXT Battleground took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and featured very exciting bouts for the fans of the black and gold brand.

WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez faced a significant challenge on the show. Perez defended her title against the TNA Knockouts Champion, Jordynne Grace. Grace made a shocking appearance a few weeks ago on an episode of NXT where she challenged Perez for her title.

At WWE NXT Battleground 2024, Roxanne Perez and Jordynne Grace put everything on the line to win the match. In the climax of the match, Tatum Paxley and former WWE star Dana Brooke’s interference caused a distraction for Grace, which Perez capitalized on with an Ace Crusher to win the match.

After the show, Roxanne Perez was interviewed exclusively about her victory. However, she was interrupted by CM Punk. CM Punk expressed that she was the champion for a reason and stood out among all the women. He then mentioned that she got lucky tonight in her match. He advised her to focus on the NXT Women’s Championship, to be true to herself, and to remain a prodigy. Despite his advice, Perez appeared unfazed and called him a hypocrite, leaving Punk shocked.
