Former WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair says she’s “ahead of schedule” in rehab for the knee injury. On the December 8, 2024, episode of SmackDown, Asuka defeated Charlotte Flair after Bayley caused an insurrection.
Charlotte Flair suffered a bad knee injury during the match. It was later learned that Flair needed surgery on a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus. Following this, WWE announced that she will be out of action for nine months.
Recently, Charlotte Flair said she’s “ahead of schedule” in her surgery rehab. Appearing on the CNBC Power Lunch, she was asked about her recovery. Flair stated, “I’m six weeks out Thursday. I’m ahead of schedule, and every day, all I can think about is returning back to the ring, especially with all the excitement with Raw going to Netflix, WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, all I can think about is getting back and winning that number 15.”
Moreover, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion has been providing the fans with her own updates throughout the process with Instagram post of her workouts.

Andrade officially returned to WWE, marking his comeback at the Royal Rumble. A few weeks ago, on an episode of RAW, Andrade appeared backstage with Adam Pearce to sign a contract, joining the RAW roster. This was his first WWE appearance since his release in March 2021.
During the Men’s Royal Rumble 2024 match at Tropicana Field, Andrade re-entered the WWE ring. Although he didn’t secure any eliminations, Andrade showed resilience, lasting for almost 25 minutes before Bronson Reed eliminated him. Just before this significant return to WWE, Andrade was spotted backstage with his real-life partner, Charlotte Flair.
With Charlotte Flair making significant progress in her rehab, it remains to be seen if she will return before her estimated nine-month recovery period.
