First up, the second season of “Black Sails” is set to premiere on January 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The series is created by Jonathan Steinberg (“Jericho,” “Human Target”) and Robert Levine (“Touch”) and executive produced by Michael Bay (Transformers, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor) and his Platinum Dunes partners Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, producers on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Purge.

The ten-episode second season follows the most feared pirate of the day, Captain Flint (Toby Stephens), and his men and takes place twenty years prior to Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic “Treasure Island.”

Then, “Outlander” returns for the second half of its first season on April 4 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The critically-acclaimed series is adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s international best-selling books and executive produced by Ronald D. Moore (“Battlestar Galactica,” “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”) and has already been picked up for a second season.

The “Outlander” series spans the genres of romance, science fiction, history, and adventure in one epic tale. It follows Claire Randall as she navigates the hidden dangers of 18th century Scotland, an unknown world where her freedom and very life are at risk. When she is forced to marry Jamie Fraser, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, a passionate affair is ignited that tears Claire?s heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.

Finally, “Power” returns for a second season on an unspecified date this summer.

“Power” tells the story of wealthy New York City nightclub owner, James “Ghost” St. Patrick, who caters to the city’s elite. He wants to build an empire, turn the club into a Fortune 500 business, but there’s just one problem: he is living a double life. When he is not in the club, he is the kingpin of the most lucrative drug network in New York for a very high-level clientele. His marriage, family and business all become unknowingly threatened as he is tempted to leave his criminal life behind and become the rags-to-riches businessman he wants to be most of all.

The series is created by Courtney Kemp Agboh (“The Good Wife”), who serves as executive producer and showrunner. Mark Canton (300, Immortals, 300: Rise of an Empire), Randall Emmett (End of Watch, 2 Guns, Lone Survivor) and David Knoller (?”Big Love,” “Carnivàle?) also serve as executive producers. The series is being produced in association with CBS Television Studios.
