Hulu has released The Famous Five trailer for its upcoming U.S. premiere of the BBC series, based on Enid Blyton’s popular children’s adventure novels.
The video introduces five fearless kids who embark on many adventures where they encounter criminals and mysteries related to an impending war. The coming-of-age adventure dramedy will be available for streaming on Friday, May 31 with all six episodes.

What is The Famous Five about?
“The series follows five daring young explorers as they encounter treacherous, action-packed adventures, remarkable mysteries, unparalleled danger and astounding secrets,” reads the synopsis. “George, Julian, Dick, Anne and their dog Timmy are young and fearless. Each has their own unique personality. But when thrown together, they become unstoppable. The charming series is built as a summertime adventure with kids in the driver’s seat of their own treasure hunt.”
The Famous Five is executive produced by Nicolas Wind Refn, who is also serving a director along with Kirkbym and Bill Eagles. The series stars Diaana Babnicova as George, Elliott Rose as Julian, Kit Rakusen (Foundation) as Dick, Flora Jacoby Richardson as Anne, Jack Gleeson (Game of Thrones) as Wentworth, Ann Akinjirin (Moon Knight) as Fanny, James Lance (Ted Lasso) as Quentin, Diana Quick (Father Brown, Houdini and Doyle) as Mrs. Wentworth and more. It is executive produced by Matthew Read, Will Gould, Frith Tiplady, Tim Kirkby, Christina Bostofte Erritzøe, Kimberly Willming, and Matthew Bouch, with Sophie MacClancy producing.
