HBO has revealed The Regime trailer for its newest miniseries starring Kate Winslet as a dictator of a European country.
The video highlights the odd relationship between Winslet and Matthias Schoenaerts’ characters as the latter becomes the chancellor’s right-hand man and personal guard. It also teases the consequences of the chancellor’s unconventional leadership style. The limited drama will debut on March 3 on HBO and Max.

Who’s involved in The Regime?
The Regime is directed and executive produced by Stephen Frears, who’s best known for directing the acclaimed film The Queen. Joining Winslet and Schoenaerts are Guillaume Gallienne, Andrea Riseborough, Martha Plimpton, Hugh Grant, HBO has revealed that Danny Webb, David Bamber, Henry Goodman, Stanley Townsend, Louie Mynett, Rory Keenan, Karl Markovics, and Pippa Haywood. The six-episode series is executive produced by Succession producers Will Tracy and Frank Rich, with Tracy also serving as the showrunner and writer.
For her leading performance as Mare Sheehan in Mare of Easttown, Winslet won Emmy and Golden Globe awards, both for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie. Besides The Regime, the acclaimed Titanic actress has also signed on for the leading in another HBO drama titled Trust.
