Netflix has released the Captains of the World trailer for its newest sports documentary about the teams who competed during 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The video teases exclusive interviews featuring football superstars Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and more. The six-episode docuseries will be available for streaming on December 30.

What to expect in Captains of the World?
“Captains Of The World explores one of the greatest sporting spectacles of all time,” reads the logline. “Featuring behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with captains, prominent players, coaches and more – this captivating docuseries revisits the tragedies and triumphs of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.”
The documentary series is executive produced by Leo Pearlman, Richard Thompson, Ben Turner, Gabe Turner, James Abraham, James Marley, and Paul Redman. It is directed by Ben Turner and Gabe Turner, with Neil Housley producing. The docuseries hails from Fulwell 73 and FIFA+.
