Disney+ has released another The Book of Boba Fett featurette for Lucasfilm’s latest Star Wars series, which is set following the events of the second season of The Mandalorian. The series is scheduled to make its return tomorrow, with the second episode.
The video, which you can check out below, has now turned the spotlight to Ming-Na Wen’s portrayal of Fennec Shand, a character who first appeared during the first season of The Mandalorian. Before The Book of Boba Fett, Wen also voiced Fennec in the Disney+ animated series The Bad Batch. The featurette includes commentaries from Wen, Temuera Morrison, and Robert Rodriguez, with Wen expressing how grateful she is to be able to return to the Star Wars universe, describing Fennec Shand as a role of a lifetime.

“The series is described as a thrilling Star Wars adventure,” reads the logline. “It finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.”
The Book of Boba Fett sees the return of Temuera Morrison as he reprises his fan-favorite space bounty hunter role as Boba Fett, who was last seen by Star Wars fans during the post-credits scene of the second season finale of The Mandalorian.
The series will be executive produced by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, who are reportedly trying to adopt Marvel Studios’ successful MCU format. Joining Morrison are Ming-Na Wen, Matt Berry, Jennifer Beals, and more.
