The first official teaser for the upcoming second season of CBS TV Studios’ hit supernatural horror drama Evil has finally been released, confirming that the Katja Herbers and Mike Colter-led series will be making its return on June 20, exclusively on its new home Paramount+. The video provides us a preview of what to expect on the new season as it takes on much darker entities that surely blurs the line between science and religion. It features Kristen, David, and Ben as they face their own demons while teasing the trio’s next sinister cases.
The first footage comes after it has been recently confirmed that Evil has officially shifted from the CBS network to Paramount+. In addition to the horror drama, CBS’ SEAL Team is also heading to the streamer, while Clarice’s move is still in negotiations.

Evil is a psychological mystery series about the battle between science and religion. It focuses on Kristen Bouchard, a skeptical female clinical psychologist who joins David Acosta, a Catholic priest-in-training, and a blue-collar contractor named Ben as they investigate supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and other extraordinary occurrences to see if there’s a scientific explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.
The series stars Katja Herbers as Kristen, Mike Colter as David, Aasif Mandvi as Ben, and Michael Emerson as Leland. It also features Kurt Fuller, Brooklyn Shuck, Skylar Gray, Maddy Crocco, Dalya Knapp, Christine Lahti, and Patrick Brammall.

Evil is created and executive produced by The Good Wife duo Robert and Michelle King, with Robert King directing the pilot. It is executive produced by King Size Productions president Liz Glotzer. The series had scored an early second season renewal right before it concluded its first season run.
