In shocking news, Yellowstone Season 6 may be in the works at Paramount, with two stars from the hit drama series in talks to star.
According to a recent report from THR, a sixth season of the hit series — which will be different from its upcoming sequel series The Madison — is in development at Paramount. In addition, stars Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser (who play Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, respectively) are also in talks to star in the upcoming season.
What do we know about Yellowstone Season 6?
Nothing is known about Yellowstone Season 6, as the show continuing is mostly a surprise. Prior to the news, Yellowstone Season 5 was presumed to be the final season of the hit Paramount Western. That season is set to premiere in November, although it’s unclear exactly how the season will end with a new season in the works.
“The series chronicles the Dutton family, led by John Dutton, who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States,” reads the synopsis. “Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect — the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders – an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and America’s first national park.”
Yellowstone is created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson. It currently stars Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Forrie Smith, Denim Richards, Ian Bohen, Finn Little, Ryan Bingham, Gil Birmingham, Jen Landon, and Kathryn Kelly.
