Paramount+ with Showtime has unveiled first-look images for Dexter: Original Sin, an upcoming prequel series starring Patrick Gibson as the young vigilante serial killer Dexter Morgan.
Dexter: Original Sin is set 15 years before the events of the original series, which starred Michael C. Hall as the titular anti-hero. The Showtime crime drama debuted in 2006 and ran for eight seasons through 2013. Now set to take viewers a few years back to where it all started, Gibson — known for his roles in Before We Die and Shadow and Bone — will serve as the younger version of Dexter.

This is a particular challenge for young Dexter as he begins a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department.”
