Following his critically-acclaimed performance in Rustin, Oscar nominee Colman Domingo has found his next project with Netflix in the form of the upcoming comedy series The Four Seasons.
Netflix has announced that Domingo will officially be joining The Four Seasons cast as a series regular alongside award-winning comedic actors Steve Carell and Tina Fey. This marks Domingo’s first major TV project since Fear the Walking Dead ended its 8-season run last year, in which he played the role of Victor Strand. He will next be seen in Antoine Fuqua’s upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, where he’ll portray Joseph Jackson.
What is The Four Seasons about?
The Four Seasons hails from Fey, Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield, who will serve as creators, writers and executive producers. It will be based on the Alan Alda’s 1981 romantic comedy film of the same name which starred Carol Burnett, Len Cariou, Sandy Dennis, Rita Moreno, Jack Weston, and Bess Armstrong. The original told the story of three upper-middle-class married couples in New York City who take vacations with each other during each of the seasons.
Production is expected to begin later this year. The series will also be executive produced by David Miner, Eric Gurian and Jeff Richmond, with Alda and Marissa Bergman producing. It is a production by Universal Television and Little Stranger, Inc.
