Gen V and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Chance Pedromo has sadly passed away at the age of 27. His death comes as a result of a motorcycle accident.
In a statement on behalf of Pedromo’s family and representatives, Pedromo’s family asks for privacy and remembered Chance as someone who had a “passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life.”
“His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest. We ask you to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother,” says the statement.
Pedromo began acting in 2016, and was known best for his roles in the BBC Three film Killed by My Debt, his role as Ambrose Spellman in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and most recently, his role as Andre Anderson in the The Boys spin-off Gen V.
In a statement to Deadline, a producer for Gen V shared their shock at the news and remembered Pedromo as a wonderful on-set presence.
“We can’t quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person. Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense. We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.”
ComingSoon sends condolences to Pedromo’s family and friends at this time.
