Hulu continues to expand the cast of Hulu‘s Only Murders in the Building Season 4 with popular comedic actors. According to Variety, The Hangover star Zach Galifianakis has signed on for a recurring role in the next installment of the acclaimed comedy series, which is now production.
Galifianakis’ mystery character will reportedly be “integral to the twist and turns of this season’s investigation.” This marks the Emmy nominee’s first major scripted series since FX’s comedy-drama Baskets, which concluded its four-season run in 2019.
Who’s involved in Only Murders in the Building?
Only Murders in the Building centers around three strangers who share an obsession with “true crime” and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. The series also stars Michael Cyril Creighton, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Jackie Hoffman, James Caverly, Ryan Broussard, Tina Fey and more. Season 4 will also feature the return of Oscar winner Meryl Streep as she reprises Loretta Durkin. They will joined by new cast members Molly Shannon, Eva Longoria, Eugene Levy and Kumail Nanjiani in undisclosed roles.
The series hails from co-writers and co-creators Steve Martin and John Hoffman (Grace & Frankie). It is executive produced by Martin, Hoffman, Short, Gomez, Jamie Babbitt, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal.
Only Murders in the Building Seasons 1-3 are available for streaming on Hulu.
