According to Deadline, Superstore and Mad Men alum Ben Feldman has been enlisted to join Alexandra Daddario in AMC’s upcoming Mayfair Witches Season 2, which is currently in production in New Orleans. The series is expected to make its return later this year.
Feldman will be portraying the role of Rowan’s former boyfriend Sam ‘Lark’ Larkin, who’s described as a successful CEO of a genetics startup who has re-entered her life. Feldman is no stranger to the horror genre as he previously appeared in films such as 2008’s Cloverfield, 2009’s Friday the 13th, and 2014’s As Above, So Below.
Who’s involved in Mayfair Witches?
Based on Anne Rice’s Lives of the Mayfair Witches trilogy of novels, Mayfair Witches hails from Masters of Sex’s Esta Spalding and Michelle Ashford, who are both serving as writers and executive producers. The series stars Alexandra Daddario as Rowan, Jack Huston as Lasher, Tongayi Chirisa as Ciprien Grieve, and Harry Hamlin as Cortland Mayfair. Season 2 will also introduced Alyssa Jirrels as Moira Mayfair, Ted Levine as Julien Mayfair, and Thora Birch and Gifford Mayfair.
The series is a production by AMC Studios. Christopher Rice is executive producing on all projects based on his late mother’s iconic works, which were acquired by AMC Networks in 2020. This serves as the second project in the network’s expanding Anne Rice universe following the Interview with the Vampire series.
