Apple TV+ has officially announced the Invasion Season 3 renewal of its sci-fi drama, which hails from X-Men films producer Simon Kinberg. The cast and crew are expected to return to the set later this month. The renewal comes after over three months since the second installment had concluded its 10-episode run.
What to expect in Invasion Season 3?
In his statement regarding the renewal, Kinberg teased what fans can expect to see in Invasion Season 3, confirming that they intend to level up the stakes for the show which centers around an alien invasion told through different perspectives around the world.
“I’m so proud of what we’ve been able to do with our first two seasons of the show with our partners at Apple TV+ and our cast and crew,” Kinberg said. “This new season will continue to build on the scale, stakes and propulsion of the ‘Invasion,’ while keeping our characters front and center, bringing them together in ways that will hopefully surprise and most importantly move our audience, who have been so incredibly supportive and inspiring since day one.”
Invasion is co-created and executive produced by Kinberg and David Weil. The series stars Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Billy Barratt, Azhy Robertson, Paddy Holland, Tara Moayedi, Enver Gjokaj, Nedra Marie Taylor, Naian González Norvind and more. Executive producers are Audrey Chon, David Witz, Alik Sakharov, Andrew Baldwin, Dan Dietz, Katie O’Connell Marsh, and Nick Nantell.
