During a recent special live recording of the Happy Sad Confused, host Josh Horowitz surprised the Percy Jackson and the Olympians cast with a personal message from original Percy Jackson actor Logan Lerman.
Lerman played the titular demigod in 20th Century Fox’s film adaptations of Rick Riordan’s novels. He expressed his support to the young cast and especially towards series lead Walker Scobell as he predicts that the Disney+ show will be an instant hit.
“The show looks amazing,” Lerman said in a note. “I can’t wait to see you all crush it in your roles. You’re making a lot of people happy bringing these characters to life. I can’t imagine a better fit for Percy Jackson than Walker. You were so brilliant in ‘The Adam Project.’ I hope you like eating blue food the next few years. I think you have a hit show on your hands.”
