According to Deadline, Warrior and Bullet Train star Andrew Koji has been tapped to joined the Gangs of London Season 3 cast for the next installment to Sky Studios’ crime drama series. Besides Koji, Game of Thrones alum Richard Dormer and The Fall of the House of Usher star T’Nia Miller have also signed on to join returning lead stars Joe Cole and Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù.
Koji plays an unnamed assassin central to the series’ mystery. Dormer’s Cornelius Quinn returns from the past to awaken old rivalries, while Miller portrays the new Mayor of London.
What to expect in Gangs of London Season 3?
“In Gangs of London Season 3, ex-undercover cop turned gangster Elliot is now operating as a top-level criminal alongside the Dumanis, but their business is thrown into chaos when their shipment of cocaine is spiked, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of civilians all over London,” reads the synopsis. “The ensuing chaos attracts attention from the authorities, putting the gangs of London under pressure like never before and the ripple effects – both personal and professional – will have devastating consequences for everyone from the Wallaces, to Luan, to Lale and the street gangs. This was a targeted attack and it’s only the beginning, but the question is – who did it and why?”
Gangs of London Season 3 is being directed and executive produced by Kim Hong Sun, with Peter McKenna serving as the lead writer. The latest installment will also feature the return of Michelle Fairley as Marian Wallace, Lucian Msamati as Ed Dumani, Brian Vernel as Billy Wallace, Pippa Bennett-Warner as Shannon Dumani, Narges Rashidi as Lale, Asif Raza Mir as Asif Afidi, Orli and Eri Shuka as Luan and Mirlinda Dushaj, Jahz Armando as Saba, and Fady Elsayed as Faz.
The series was created by Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery. Executive producers are Dìrísù, McKenna, Hugh Warren, Michael Eagle-Hodgson, Vikki Tennant, Adrian Sturges, and Noel Manzano. It is a Pulse Films production for Sky Studios and AMC+.
