It sounds like Good Omens Season 3 could be on the horizon, though it would come with the departure of a key crew member from the Prime Video series.
Deadline reported that, according to its sources, Good Omens being renewed for Season 3 is “very likely.” The outlet also noted that Douglas Mackinnon — co-showrunner, director, and executive producer on the first two seasons — will not be returning.
Mackinnon posted to Instagram yesterday with a photo of himself on what appears to be the set of Good Omens. When asked about his situation and for information about Good Omens Season 3 in the comments, the showrunner stated he had indeed “moved on from Good Omens” and had no news involving a third season.
