The Morning Show Season 4 Renewed, Stars in Negotiations

Apple TV+ has granted a The Morning Show Season 4 renewal to its acclaimed drama.

According to Deadline, both Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are currently in negotiations for their contract extensions for The Morning Show Season 4. The renewal comes ahead of the series’ forthcoming third season, which is expected to premiere sometime this fall.

Who stars in The Morning Show?

The Morning Show is an unapologetically candid drama that looks at the modern workplace through the lens of the people who help wake America up. Pull back the curtain on the early morning TV. It is led by Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Billy Crudup.

Joining them are returning stars Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, Janina Gavankar, Tom Irwin, and Marcia Gay Harden. Season 3 will introduce new cast members, including Jon Hamm, Stephen Fry, Tig Notaro, and Nicole Beharie.

The Morning Show is created and executive produced by Michael Ellenberg (The Leftovers), with Kerry Ehrin serving as writer. Executive producers are Witherspoon, Aniston, Ehrin, Mimi Leder, Kristin Hahn, Lauren Levy Neudstadter, Adam Milch, and Erica Lipez.

Just like its first season, the second installment also earned multiple Golden Globe nominations, including Best Drama Series, Best Actress – Drama for Aniston, and Best Supporting Actor for both Crudup and Duplass. Witherspoon, Crudup, and Marcia Gay Harden were also recognized by the Emmy Awards, as they each received a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress, Outstanding Supporting Actor, and Outstanding Guest Actress, respectively.
