According to Deadline, Fear the Walking Dead alum Garret Dillahunt has been tapped to join Linda Cardellini and Christina Applegate in the upcoming third and final season of Dead to Me. Netflix’s hit dark comedy series is expected to make its return on November 17, more than two years since it was officially renewed.
Dillahunt is set to play the recurring role of Agent Glenn Moranis, “a top-notch detective who’s basically the MVP of the FBI. You better believe that if anyone’s gonna get to the bottom of Steve’s murder, it’s Agent Glenn Moranis.”
“Written by Liz Feldman, Dead to Me follows Jen (Applegate), a widow Hell bent on solving her husband’s hit-and-run murder, and her unlikely friend Judy (Cardellini) an optimistic woman who likewise suffered a tremendous loss,” says the description. “The two bond over bottles of wine, Entenmann’s cookies, and a shared affinity for The Facts of Life all the while Judy harbors a secret that could destroy Jen’s life.”
The series also stars James Marsden, Diana-Maria Riva, Max Jenkins, Sam McCarthy, Brandon Scott, Valerie Mahaffey, Natalie Morales, Suzy Nakamura, and more.
