Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, teasing a handful of new cast members and snippets of upcoming stories.

The new trailer reveals the additions of five new cast members, with Eric André, Sofia Boutella, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Kate Micucci, and Charlyne Yi all joining the cast. Those five will join the previously announced Essie Davis, Luke Roberts, Andrew Lincoln, F. Murray Abraham, Glynn Turman, Ben Barnes, Elpidia Carrillo, Hannah Galway, Crispin Glover, Rupert Grint, Demetrius Grosse, David Hewlett, Tim Blake Nelson, Sebastian Roché, and Peter Weller in the anthology series.

The series is based on del Toro’s short story of the same name and will feature eight unique horror stories that aim to challenge the horror genre by introducing a variety of new stories to audiences.

Two of the episodes will be original works by del Toro himself, while the other six are all written and directed by various filmmakers, including Jennifer Kent, David Prior, Keith Thomas, and more. Not every story will be original works, with many episodes set to adapt stories from prolific writers such as Michael Shea, H.P. Lovecraft, and Henry Kuttner.
