Netflix has finally set the release date for the long-awaited international debut of the sixth and final season of BBC’s acclaimed crime drama Peaky Blinders. The series had made its return to UK television nearly two weeks ago and has already aired two episodes out of its six-episode season run.
The Peaky Blinders final season will be available for streaming on June 10 in the U.S. and in other international territories. Following the Cillian Murphy-led drama’s conclusion, production for its untitled film spin-off is expected to begin in 2023.

Peaky Blinders is set in the lawless streets of Birmingham as it tracks the evolution of leader Tommy Shelby from backstreet crime lord to legitimate businessman and member of parliament. The fifth season finds the world thrown into turmoil by the financial crash of 1929. When Tommy Shelby MP is approached by a charismatic politician with a bold vision for Britain, he realizes that his response will impact not only the future of his family but that of the entire nation.
The drama stars Cillian Murphy (The Dark Knight Trilogy), the late Helen McCrory (Skyfall), Paul Anderson (The Revenant), Sophie Rundle (Bodyguard), and Finn Cole (Animal Kingdom). The cast also includes Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch), Brian Gleeson (Phantom Thread), Neil Maskell (In Darkness), and Sam Claflin (The Nightingale). New cast members include James Frecheville (Animal Kingdom), Conrad Khan (The Hunstman: Winter’s War), and Amber Anderson (Emma.).

The final season of the Peaky Blinders is directed by Anthony Byrne (In Darkness) from a script written by Steven Knight with Nick Goding set as a producer. Executive producers are Caryn Mandabach, Steven Knight, Jamie Glazebrook, David Mason, Anthony Byrne, and Cillian Murphy along with BBC’s Tommy Bulfin and Tiger Aspect’s Lucy Bedford. Peaky Blinders, from Caryn Mandabach Productions, is co-produced with Tiger Aspect Productions and distributed internationally by Banijay Rights.
The first five seasons are available to stream now on Netflix.
