Ramos’ part in the show is being kept under wraps as of now, with no official casting or character information released. Ramos will join a series that is set to star Dominique Thorne, who will play Riri Williams in both Ironheart, as well as the Black Panther sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Ramos was most recently seen in the film adaptation of In the Heights, which was based on the iconic stage musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Prior to that, Ramos rose to stardom thanks to his appearance as an original cast member of Miranda’s Broadway play Hamilton, in which Ramos played both John Laurens and Philip Hamilton.

The upcoming Ironheart series will see Dominique Thorne playing Riri Williams, who is a young genius that invents an impressive suit of armor that is similar to Iron Man. Her character is a newer one in the Marvel canon as she was created in 2016 by Brian Michael Bendis and Mike Deodat. In the comics, she’s a 15-year-old MIT student that gets noticed by Tony Stark. With Stark’s death in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the show will have to take a different route.
