Halo Infinite just launched, but the news regarding the franchise is not over. The Game Awards premiered the first extended footage of the upcoming TV series coming to Paramount+ in 2022.

The series will take place during the 26th-century fighting against the Covenant and will “weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.” Pablo Schreiber will don Master Chief’s suit, Natascha McElhone will play Dr. Halsey, and Jen Taylor will reprise her role as Cortana. Steven Kane and Steven Spielberg are executive producers on the series.

The first teaser for the series leaked online in late November before Xbox eventually put up the trailer. The shows Twitter account also tweeted that it would be at the event and showed some brief footage of the show.
