Netflix has announced that Grammy winner Dolly Parton has officially signed on for a guest-starring appearance in the forthcoming seventh and final season of Grace and Frankie. This marks Parton’s long-awaited reunion with acclaimed actresses Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin, after over 40 years since starring together in 20th Century Fox’s classic comedy film 9 to 5.
The announcement also comes after the production of the hit comedy series’ new season had recently been completed after months of getting delayed due to the ongoing pandemic. The first four episodes of Grace and Frankie‘s final season are now available for streaming, while the remaining 12 episodes are expected to debut sometime next year.
