According to The Wrap, Parks and Recreation alum Nick Offerman has officially signed on to star in Hulu’s newest limited series Pam & Tommy, centered around the relationship of rocker Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson during the 90s. This marks Offerman’s latest TV project after starring in FX on Hulu’s sci-fi thriller miniseries Devs which debuted last year.
The 50-year-old comedic actor will be playing the role of Uncle Miltie, who is a legendarily prolific porn impresario. His character description reads: “Big and burly Uncle Miltie brings his larger-than-life stature into the workplace to keep things lively and real. Known as ‘the money guy,’ he helps disgruntled electrician Rand distribute the sex tape. A borderline sociopath, Uncle Miltie treads along a line between humorous and horrific.”

Pam & Tommy tells the story of the tumultuous relationship between the Motley Crüe drummer/co-founder and former Baywatch star/model, including the notorious incident in which their honeymoon sex tape was stolen and subsequently leaked to the public. Though it will be included, the story will not focus on the scandal but rather explore their relationship going back to their marriage after only 96 hours of having known each other.
The 8-episode miniseries will be led by Sebastian Stan (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) as Tommy Lee and Lily James (Baby Driver) as Pamela Anderson. They will be joined by Seth Rogen (This is the End) as the man who stole the couple’s sex tape and sold it off.

Pam & Tommy will be directed by Craig Gillespie, who previously worked with Stan in the acclaimed 2017 film I, Tonya, from a screenplay written by Rob Siegel. Rogen will also produce the project with his Point Grey partner Evan Goldberg through their banner alongside Dylan Sellers via Limelight, Dave Franco and Sue Naele and Megan Ellison at Annapurna. Sources report that Rogen and Goldberg’s Point Grey are the ones spearheading the project and brought it forward to the streaming platform.
