According to TVLine, Shadowhunters actor Jon Cor has officially been cast for a recurring role in the upcoming seventh season of The CW’s hit superhero series The Flash. Cor is set to portray the role of DC villain Mark Stevens a.k.a Chillblaine. The series is scheduled to make its return on February 23, 2021, with episode 7.01 titled “All’s Well That Ends Wells.”

Chillblaine is a scientist who is being described as a charismatic bad boy obsessed with cryogenic technology. But when he’s not breaking into corporate safes, he’s busy breaking hearts with his irresistible charm and roguish style. Armed with his own cold weapons, he’ll become a new thorn in the side of Team Flash.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramo, Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny, Jessica Parker Kennedy as Nora West-Allen aka the speedster hero XS, Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton with Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells, and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West.
