Available April 1

Beach Bodies (BritBox Event) – Despite the jubilation or peace of mind long associated with the infinite waves, the sand, and the breezy promenade walk, many seaside towns and coastal shores have become a host of some of the most grisly murders. This stunt looks at the darkness that lurks beneath the fun, and feature the following titles:

Death In Paradise – A light-hearted whodunit on the sunshine Caribbean island where a team of police uses unconventional methods to catch the killers of some of the most impossible crimes.

Shetland – When a young man disappears on the overnight ferry to Shetland, DI Jimmy Perez and the team embark on a challenging case that leads them from the Shetland Islands to Glasgow.

The Coroner – Jane Kennedy is a high-flying solicitor who returns to the small town she escaped as a teenager. As coroner, she investigates intriguing cases against a stunning seaside backdrop.

The Bay – An investigation into a pair of missing teenagers leads to the uncovering of layers of simmering secrets and lies.

The Mallorca Files Season 1 | (BritBox Original, North American Premiere) – Set amongst the vibrant international community of the eponymous Spanish island, The Mallorca Files centers around Detective Miranda Blake played by Elen Rhys (Broadchurch, Silent Witness) – an introvert who is used to living by the rules – and Julian Looman as her German counterpart, Max Winter, whose approach to policing is based on gut-instinct and little regard for protocol. Their dynamic – sometimes in sync, but mostly not – sets the playful tone of the series.

Father Brown Seasons 1-6 | (BritBox Exclusive, New To BritBox) – Set in the early 1950s, the series centers around the local Catholic priest at St. Mary’s, who often finds himself solving some of the biggest crimes in the quaint English village of Kembleford. Assisted in his efforts by a motley, and not always godly, squad of allies, he is thrust further into his role thanks to an inept local detective. Father Brown is a fun, compelling light-hearted period procedural that has certainly earned its stripes with audiences around the world.

TBA: Pointless Season 23 | (BritBox Exclusive, North American Premiere) – Joining BritBox’s NOW feature is the only game show where contestants with the fewest points are the winners! It’s like Family Feud but competitors are tasked with finding the lesser-known or pointless answers. The more obvious an answer the more points added to a team’s total. Four teams of two compete to survive elimination by avoiding the highest score in that round. The last team standing has a chance to win the Pointless Jackpot.

Available April 12

Easter From King’s 2020 | (BritBox Exclusive, North American Premiere) – BritBox’s NOW feature brings Easter from King’s, the annual British tradition in which the world-renowned choir from King’s College performs a special Easter concert broadcast live from the historic and breathtaking campus chapel.

Available April 14

Scarborough | (BritBox Exclusive, North American Premiere) – From Derren Litten, creator of the smash-hit Benidorm, Scarborough residents Karen and Mike find themselves reunited after five years apart. Now in their late 30s – not “old”, despite what their youthful realtor tells them – it’s time to make a proper go of it. The only trouble is, life in Scarborough is never quiet (sometimes literally when karaoke is on). From an unexpected death at Karen’s job to Mike’s feud with the local ice cream mogul, can this pair survive what Scarborough has in store for them?

Available April 21

Northern Cops Season 1 | (BritBox Exclusive, North American Premiere) – Meet the emergency response officers, detectives and command centers of the Northumbria Police force fighting to keep their community safe. This is a world where warmth, humor and poignant moments meet action, drama, and tragedy. Where accidental shoplifting and drunk and disorderly behavior sit alongside robberies and manhunts. Returning characters reveal the compelling stories of the people fighting crime and those who become victims of it. These individual stories also reflect modern crime-fighting and social issues facing the whole of the UK. Adrenaline-filled chases. Emotional interactions. Beautiful scenery. This is a real-life true crime police series.

Available April 24

Waiting for God Seasons 1-3 | (New to BritBox) – Tom Ballard played by Graham Crowden (Foyle’s War, Waking the Dead) is a retired accountant with a taste for fantasy. Diana Trent played by Stephanie Cole(Inside No.9, Coronation Street) is a no-nonsense, sharp-tongued ex-journalist. Two elderly eccentrics refuse to grow old gracefully and strike up an uneasy alliance that leads to many adventures at the Bayview retirement village.

April Available 28

Question Time 2020 |(BritBox Exclusive, North American Premiere) – BritBox’s NOW feature brings a brand new season of the 40-year-old BBC current affairs program presented by Fiona Bruce.
