Legends of Tomorrow Episode 4.09 Photos Reveals an Unlikely Romance

The CW has released the promo images for Legends of Tomorrow‘s upcoming ninth episode and mid-season premiere titled “Lucha De Apuestas,” revealing an unlikely romance between Ramona Young’s character Mona and Darien Martin’s Konane, a werewolf-like magical creature called a kaupe. The new episode is set to air next month on April 1. Check out the photos below!

Andrew Kasch directed the episode nine that was co-written by Keto Shimizu and Tyron B. Carter. Its official synopsis reads:

“BELIEVE IT OR NOT — When the Legends hear that Mona (Roman Young) has let a fugitive go, they must head to 1961 Mexico City to clean up her mess.  Mona tries to convince the Legends and the Bureau that the people responsible for releasing the fugitive were some mysterious Men in Black and not her.  With no evidence to back up her theory, the Legends must decide if they should trust her and go against the Bureau.  Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Zano) and Zari (Tala Ashe) go on a recon mission to find out what Hank (guest star Tom Wilson) might be hiding from everyone. “

After defeating Mallus by cuddling him to death with a giant stuffed animal named Beebo, the Legends were ready to ease off the gas. That was until Constantine arrived to inform them that, in solving one major problem, they have created another, much larger one. When the Legends let time crumble in order to release and defeat Mallus, the barrier between worlds softened. History is now infected with “Fugitives” – magical creatures from myths, fairytales, and legends. Having been expelled throughout time by people like Constantine, these Fugitives are now returning to our world in droves and making a real mess of things. So when all hell breaks loose, who ya gonna call? That’s right, the Legends!

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/The ATOM, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Nick Zano as Dr. Nate Heywood/Steel, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Vixen, Jes Macallan as Ava Sharpe, with Courtney Ford as Nora Darhk, and Matt Ryan as John Constantien. The new season will also include Ramona Young as Alaska Yu, Courtney Ford as Nora Darhk, Matt Ryan as John Constantine and Tom Wilson as Hank Heywood.
