In 1995, a 16-year-old track star named Adrianne Jones was brutally murdered by Diane Zamora And David Graham. Zamora is behind bars at Dr. Lane Murray Unit in Gatesville, Texas, while Graham is at the James V. Allred Unit in Iowa Park, Texas.
Diane Zamora went to Crowley High School, while David Graham was a student at Mansfield High School. Diane was a member of several clubs and the National Honors Society. Furthermore, she was going to join the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. On the other hand, David was a battalion commander in his high school’s Junior ROTC program. The duo met in August 1995 and soon began dating. Furthermore, they planned to get married after graduating from college.
Like David, Adrianne Jones, too, attended Mansfield High School. The two became close and ended up having sex. However, David confessed his deeds to his girlfriend, and Diane gave him an ultimatum to either kill Adrianne or break up with her.

The court found Diane Zamora and David Graham guilty of capital murder. According to The New York Times, Diane hit Adrianne Jones in the head with a barbell weight. Furthermore, David terminated her by shooting her twice.
Sgt. Douglas Clancey of the Grand Prairie Police Department said, “Diane grabbed a barbell weight and swung it and subsequently hit Adrianne in the head. Adrianne managed to struggle out of the car before she was subsequently shot twice in the head by David.”
The couple was arrested on September 6, 1996, and their trials were held separately.
