American actor Armie Hammer found himself in trouble in 2021. Multiple women came forward to reveal that he was an abuser. Furthermore, the nature of these abuses was physical, mental, and sexual. Hammer dated a woman named Courtney Vucekovich for a couple of months in 2020. According to USA Today, Vucekovich said that her ex regularly manipulated and abused her.
Vucekovich said, “He kind of captivates you and while being charming he’s grooming you for these things that are darker and heavier and consuming. When I say consuming, I mean mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, just everything.”
After their breakup, Vucekovich entered a program that specialized in helping people who suffered from PTSD and trauma. A few days later, another woman named Paige Lorenze revealed that Hammer had been abusive toward her as well. Lorenze and Hammer dated for four months in 2020. She too sought therapy to get over the psychological damage she went through during her time with her ex-boyfriend.
In an interview with Page Six, she stated, “There were red flags throughout the relationship. I guess I just put them to the side, and he made me feel so confident at times.”
In 2021, yet another woman named Effie accused the actor of being a rapist and a physical abuser. Accompanied by her lawyer, Gloria Allred, a teary Effie revealed in a news conference that Hammer violently attacked her.
She said, “He abused me mentally, emotionally, and sexually and repeatedly slammed my head against a wall, bruising my face. He also committed other acts of violence against me to which I did not consent.”
Hammer has strongly denied the allegations against him. Furthermore, his lawyer, Andrew Brettler, revealed that it was Effie who sent the actor problematic texts, and his client did not want to have an unconventional sexual relationship with Effie.

Furthermore, in an interview with Vanity Fair, Paige Lorenze said, “He would say things to me…weird stuff…like, ‘I want to eat your ribs. The scariest part of it is that I did love him in a way. I would’ve let him kind of do anything. He had a certain hold over me.”
