A more than four-decade-old missing case involving an infant named, Baby Holly Clouse, has finally been solved. Holly Clouse, who is currently 42 years old, went missing in 1980. At the time of her disappearance, she was only 12 months old. The revelation of her discovery was broken by several news outlets on June 9, 2022.
In 1980, Holly and her parents, 17-year-old Tina and 21-year-old Harold Dean Clouse Jr. moved from Florida to Texas. A year later, their corpses were discovered in the woods. However, officials were not able to figure out the identity of the bodies because they were in terrible condition. Their identities were finally revealed in 2021 when genetic genealogy was used on their exhumed bodies.

Where was Baby Holly Clouse all this time?
After the discovery of Tina and Harold Dean Clouse Jr.’s identities, officials informed their family that they were, in fact, murdered in 1981. After learning this information, the family revealed that the couple had a baby and wanted to know what happened to the one-year-old.
It did not take too long to learn that Baby Holly Clouse was, in fact, a 42-year-old woman named Holly Miller. According to 6ABC, she has been living in Oklahoma and even is a mother to 5 children. After the murder of her parents, she was left in an Arizona church. However, a family soon adopted and raised her.
After learning her identity and about her family, the 42-year-old woman gave a statement to ABC News.
She said, “I am so wonderfully blessed to have a loving, faithful family to embrace as we meet again after 41 years. My heart is overwhelmed with joy and sadness. Joy to get to know my parents’ family who have been praying and searching for me.”
She further stated, “Sadness for our loss of my parents and the time we could have shared together. I am hopeful for many more gatherings with my newfound family to embrace one another and share memories together.
On November 7, 2022, the New York Post reported that Holly Clouse finally reunited with her family. This emotional reunion involved Holly hugging her biological grandmother Donna Casasanta and saying “I love you. Thank you for all your prayers.” Holly Clouse aka Holly Miller ever told Casasanta, “God kept me safe and protected all these years and I just want you to know that.”
To which her grandmother replied, “We never gave up on you.”
Who killer Tina and Harold Dean Clouse Jr.?
The murder of Tina and Harold Dean Clouse Jr. remains unsolved. The Texas Attorney General’s Cold Case and Missing Persons Unit has asked anybody with information about the culprit to contact them at coldcaseunit@oag.texas.gov.
Furthermore, Holly wants to know who killed her parents. She is hopeful that one day the case and her family’s suffering will end.
