Blank SS2 episode 3 begins with Khun Nueng taking a drunk Anueng back to the palace. The latter starts kissing, despite the former saying someone might see them. Auntie Nim then breaks Khun Nueng and Anueng’s passionate kiss and continues to interrogate the former. Nueng retorts and says the palace is her home and she can do as she pleases. However, Auntie Nim questions her appropriateness and says that Nueng’s grandma would have been concerned if she had been here.
A frustrated Nueng answers that she can’t make everyone happy and says that Anueng is her happiness. She then asks Auntie Nim to be open-minded about them. Furthermore, Nueng says that as much as she cares about the family’s name, it is still her life. The next morning, Anueng apologizes to Nueng for causing her trouble. The latter explains that Auntie Nim is worried about others talking badly about the pair. Although people will find out about them sooner or later, Nueng asks Anueng to be careful.
Later, Khun Nueng hits the headlines as the media claims she and her ex-groom-to-be, Chet, got back together. The former then worries about Anueng seeing the news. When Nueng picks Anueng from the university, the latter says she saw the news and isn’t mad at the former. As the pair worries about what the future holds, they agree to face it together. Furthermore, Anueng asks Nueng if they can reveal their relationship. However, the latter says they can’t, as it would ruin the former’s family. Despite Chet not raising her, he is still Anueng’s father. Moreover, the consequences would impact Anueng’s grandma gravely.
Blank The Series SS2 episode 3 recap: Yoko Apasra’s father asks Faye Peraya to marry him
Anueng asks her grandma if she’ll be open about her dating a girl. However, the latter strictly opposes the idea and says it is “unnatural.” Grandma then adds that Anueng must focus on studying and graduating first and not get into any relationships. Later, Anueng opens up to Nueng about her grandma’s views. The latter says it would take time, but their family would accept them eventually.
Furthermore, Chet invites Khun Nueng out for a meal to discuss surprising Anueng with a car. However, the latter says he should consider what his daughter really wants instead of gifts. Later, Nueng asks what Chet would do if Anueng liked a girl. The latter, too, opposes and says he won’t let his daughter be a lesbian. Nueng then advises Chet that instead of using money to win her heart, he should be more open-minded and respect her choices.
Elsewhere, Anueng learns cooking from Auntie Nim to win her over. The latter warms up to the former during the process. Later, Nueng heartily enjoys the meal prepared by Anueng. While cooking, Anueng tells Auntie Nim that she loves Nueng and is ready to do everything to make the people in the palace accept them. Later, Chet invites Khun Nueng and Anueng to meet his family. Despite refusing at first, Anueng meets her grandparents after Nueng tells her to give her father a chance. When Chet gifts Anueng a necklace, she returns it and says it’s not her style.
The episode also shows Khun Sam and Mon celebrating Khun Nueng’s birthday. However, she misses and worries about Anueng. Right then, Chet calls and informs Nueng that Anueng has disappeared. Later, when she finally finds her, Nueng tears up and asks Anueng not to disappear like that again, as she can’t live without her. The latter apologizes and promises not to do so again. Anueng then wishes Nueng a warm birthday. The pair confesses their love for each other and shares intimate moments together.
Furthermore, the episode ends with Chet asking Khun Nueng to marry him, as he thinks she’s perfect to be a mother figure to Anueng.
