Thai Reality Show Fully Booked Episode 3 Recap: Idols Head to Osaka for Restaurant Opening

The Thai cooking reality show Fully Booked released episode 3 on Monday, April 1, 2024, at 6 p.m. ICT on GMMTV’s official YouTube channel. It takes viewers on an exciting adventure as six idols from the production house—Earth, Gun, Pond, Force, Book, and Dunk—open a Thai restaurant in Osaka, Japan.

Episode 3 sees the idols finally head to Osaka after receiving cooking training from Chef Tukta. Pond misses the first day in Japan due to his schedule in another city. The rest are given a tour of the restaurant, Huan Kuen, that they will take over for Fully Booked.

P’Tank, the restaurant’s owner, tells the boys that speed is the key while working here. After seeing the kitchen, Book asks P’Tank if they can separate the kitchen for appetizers and main dishes so the six of them operate smoothly. P’Tank also guides them toward the closest supermarket before leaving.

Earth, Gun, Force, Book, and Dunk then begin to decorate the restaurant and give it a Fully Booked makeover. Ahead of the opening, the team is tasked to make all the dishes in a given time frame. They then head out to buy cooking ingredients for the test and opening. After getting distracted by a playground, the five finally make it to the supermarket. They grab what they need. However, the appetizers team comes across a bump when they can’t find chilli.

The next day, Pond joins the rest of the idols for their test before the restaurant opening. Before getting to work, the team holds a meeting to delegate duties. The idols begin by preparing the ingredients for their dishes. P’Tank helps Pond, who is in charge of all the eggs-related dishes.

Their test is divided into two rounds. In the first round, the idols are told to cook five dishes in 45 minutes. Furthermore, in the first 15 minutes, the first serving of the appetizer needs to be ready to serve.

Within 30 minutes, the first serving of either Pad Thai or chicken rice must be ready to serve. And finally, in 45 minutes, they must serve the dessert Bualoy. The idols feel pressured by the time limit and the multiple servings. After a few hiccups, the appetizers and main course complete the first round of their mission.

During the evaluation, P’Tank declared that Bualoy and fried chicken wings were ready for sale. Furthermore, Gun is disheartened as he is told his Som Tam isn’t ready for sale because the taste of each serving is inconsistent. Moving on to the main dish, chicken rice sauce, soup, and Pad Thai are also declared not ready for sale.

Pad Thai’s noodles had gotten mushy; however, the egg wraps weren’t neat. Despite the poor reviews, P’Tank tells the team not to feel discouraged. Earth, Gun, Pond, Force, Book, and Dunk are told to improve the dishes that aren’t ready for sale.

The main course team then gets ready for the second round. They are given 30 minutes to prepare two dishes. Earth, Book, and Pond are told their Pad Kaprao Moo Sap with fried egg is ready for sale. Meanwhile, their second dish, Tom Yam Goong, with a minced pork omelette, is also declared ready for sale.

P’Tank further gives them tips to improve their dishes. The main course team rejoices after passing the second round with flying colors.
