Korean film Man in Love’s Thai remake is all set to hit the theaters this year. The movie stars popular Thai actors Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree and Yaya Urassaya Sperbund. The film was initially titled The Interest when the project was first unveiled in 2022. However, the movie’s English title recently got renamed, leading to confusion among fans.
Man in Love’s Thai remake movie is now called Love You to Debt. In the film, Bright stars as a debt collector constantly surrounded by conflict and violence. However, the brutal collector has a change of heart when he’s sent to collect the debt from a young, beautiful woman, Yaya. She refuses to pay back the daily interest as there was no contract during the deal. Since he is completely smitten by her, he comes up with an exclusive “dating contract” to help her pay off her debt. He proposes to pay off the interest on her behalf if she agrees to go on dates with him.
Bright Vachirawit and Yaya Urassaya’s upcoming movie trailer revealed
Love You to Debt’s official trailer shows the film is set in Thailand’s seaside city of Pattaya. It dives into the brutality of loan shark gangsters as they go after the debtors, taking money from them by all means. However, things take a turn when Bo (Bright) meets Im (Yaya). She explains to him her salary won’t cover the daily interest. Bo then proposes a dating contract. Gradually, Bo falls for Im, but he’s told she won’t marry a thug like him.
The trailer then shows a montage of swoon-worthy moments as Im tells Bo, “If we are to walk together, we should walk on the right path.” In the end, Bo must choose between his job and bad habits or a new life with the woman he loves.
