The upcoming highly-anticipated Thai BL series My Stand-In has revealed its official poster and release date. The series stars Up Poompat Iam-samang and Poom Phuripan Sapsangsawat in lead roles. My Stand-In is based on the Chinese novel Professional Body Double by Shui Qiang Cheng.
It follows the story of Joe (Poom), a stuntman for popular actor Tong (Mek Jirakit Thawornwong), as he crosses paths with Ming (Up). Things take an interesting turn as the two develop a relationship. However, Ming sees Joe as Tong’s replacement. To make matters worse, Joe finds out the truth and is forced to work on a different film set, where he dies in an accident.
Following the accident, Joe wakes up in the body of a young boy (also named Joe), who died on the same day. The events lead Joe back to the same life he was living before the accident and with the same people. And thus, he ends up meeting Ming again. To get Joe by his side again, Ming begins to uncover the truth behind Joe’s new life.
