The Exclusive Final Trailer for All the Money in the World

ComingSoon.net has your exclusive first look at the final trailer for All the Money in the World, opening in theaters on Christmas Day. Directed by Ridley Scott (Alien: CovenantThe MartianGladiator) from a script by David Scarpa (The Day the Earth Stood StillThe Last Castle), the true-life drama is based on the book by John Pearson.

All the Money in the World follows the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother Gail (Michelle Williams) to convince his billionaire grandfather (Christopher Plummer) to pay the ransom. When Getty Sr. refuses, Gail attempts to sway him as her son’s captors become increasingly volatile and brutal. With her son’s life in the balance, Gail and Getty’s advisor (Mark Wahlberg) become unlikely allies in the race against time that ultimately reveals the true and lasting value of love over money.

Less than two months ago, Ridley Scott made the decision to replace Kevin Spacey in the role of J. Paul Getty with Plummer following sexual assault and harassment allegations against Spacey. Scott reshot all the J. Paul Getty scenes with Plummer in just nine days, and now the actor is earning raves for the role.

From Sony‘s TriStar Pictures and Imperative Entertainment, All the Money in the World was produced by Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas, Quentin Curtis, Chris Clark, Ridley Scott, Mark Huffam, and Kevin J. Walsh. It is rated R by the MPAA for language, some violence, disturbing images and brief drug content.
