Against All Enemies is an intense new documentary about the rise of violent, dangerous extremist groups in the United States. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2023 and has since played at a number of different film festivals.

What is Against All Enemies about?
“Against All Enemies goes deep inside the violent extremist movement in America, alongside the Proud Boys, 3 Percenters, and Oath Keepers,” the official synopsis reads. “These groups, organized and led by highly trained military veterans, previewed the chaos they can cause on January 6th. The film is a warning about an existential threat to democracy in 2024, and a beacon for those hoping to combat it.”
Against All Enemies is Sadoff’s feature film directorial debut; although, he’s produced and co-produced a number of documentaries in the past, including 2009’s Running America, 2010’s Cut Poison Burn, 2010’s The Harvest, 2014’s The Life and Mind of Mark DeFriest, and 2020’s The Definition of Insanity.
Along with directing the movie, Sadoff also co-wrote and produced Against All Enemies. Kenneth Harbaugh and Sebastian Junger also co-wrote the documentary, while Harbaugh also served as a producer.
Dan Darkhuff, Sebastian Junger, Marni Grossman, Gretchen Sisson, Nancy Blachman, John Driscoll, and Morwin Schmookler served as executive producers, while Jenny Lee and Pierre Hollis were co-executive producers.
The film is narrated by Peter Coyote and features appearances from Michael Breen, Eric “General E” Braden, Kristofer Goldsmith, Dr. Kathleen Belew, Jason Crow, Mikie Sherrill, Seth Moulton, Michael “Top” Washington, Randy Ireland, Ali Soufan, Simon Clark, Stanley McChrystal, Stewart Rhodes, Denver Riggleman, Esosa Osa, and Bill Kristol.
Against All Enemies releases in select theaters and on VOD on March 29, 2024.
