I recently learned Universal will be screening Everest here in Seattle one day before I return home from the Toronto Film Festival. Every year I miss something I need to come home to watch, but this is one I’m actually looking forward to so I’m quite bummed I’ll be missing out on the press screening. That said, as rarely as I look forward to seeing anything in 3D, I’m beginning to think this just might be one of those films that pays off if you see it in 3D IMAX. Coincidentally enough, this very post is all about the IMAX marketing for the upcoming thriller.

Everest hits theaters on Sep 18 and features a massive cast including Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Jake Gyllenhaal, Martin Henderson, Emily Watson, Michael Kelly, Sam Worthington, Robin Wright, Keira Knightley and Vanessa Kirby.
