The first official Rumours teaser trailer is here, previewing the upcoming black comedy starring Cate Blanchett and Alicia Vikander.
What happens in the Rumours teaser trailer?
The trailer highlights the absurd nature of the upcoming comedy, which focuses on seven leaders of the world’s wealthiest democracies all trying to draft a statement on a global crisis. The teaser doesn’t show much else but does hint at a gigantic brain appearing in the film in some fashion.
Rumours is slated to release in theaters nationwide beginning on October 18, 2024. The film comes from directors Guy Maddin, Evan Johnson, and Galen Johnson, from a script co-written by all three men as well.
