ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Next Goal Wins clip from the bonus features of the home release of Taika Waititi‘s latest movie. You can buy the film on Digital on Tuesday, January 16 and on Blu-ray on Tuesday, February 27.
The clip features filmmaker Taika Waititi and stars Michael Fassbender and Elisabeth Moss discussing the character of Thomas Rongen, who Fassbender plays. The bonus features also include the “Creating The Pitch of Life” featurette and the “Creating The Pitch of Life” deleted scene.
“Based on a true story, this heartfelt underdog comedy follows the American Samoa soccer team, infamous for their brutal 31-0 FIFA loss in 2001,” reads the movie’s synopsis. “With the World Cup qualifiers fast approaching, the team hires down-on-his- luck, maverick coach Thomas Rongen (Michael Fassbender), hoping he will turn the world’s worst soccer team into winners.”
