The video features Connelly as a former child star who joins an enlightenment retreat. It also highlights the turbulent relationship between a mother and daughter, portrayed by Connelly and Englert. The film had its world premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. Further details about its U.S. release have not yet been announced, but it will start playing in New Zealand theaters on November 2 and in Australian theaters on November 9.

What to expect in Bad Behaviour?
“Lucy seeks enlightenment. The former child actress makes a pilgrimage to join her guru, Elon Bello, for a silent retreat at a beautiful mountain resort with a Tesla-crammed parking lot,” reads the synopsis (via Sundance). “Before she shuts off her phone to the world, Lucy reaches out to her daughter, Dylan — a stunt person training for a dangerous fight scene — to interrupt her concentration and announce that she will be unavailable and out of range, and that she is very worried about her, and that she might extend her stay. It is co-dependent, bad behavior. When a young model/DJ/influencer at the retreat is paired up with Lucy to do a mother/daughter role-playing exercise, hellfire stokes Lucy’s bad behavior to an astonishing low.”
Bad Behaviour is written and directed by Englert, who is also starring as Dylan. Joining Englert and Connelly are Ben Whishaw, Ana Scotney, Dasha Nekrasova, Karan Gill, Beulah Koale and Marlon Williams. It is executive produced by Connelly, Englert, Whishaw, and Stephen Braun, with Molly Hallam and Desray Armstrong serving as producers.
