Prime Video has released the Totally Killer trailer for Blumhouse’s newest horror comedy, starring Kiernan Shipka as she finds herself in a Back to the Future scenario when she accidentally goes back in time after getting attack by a masked killer.
The video features Shipka’s Jamie who tries to prevent her mother from getting murdered by the Sweet Sixteen Killer by travelling to 1987 in order to hunt down the younger version of the killer. The film will be available for streaming on October 6, exclusively on Prime Video.

What to expect in Totally Killer?
“Thirty-five years after the shocking murder of three teens, the infamous ‘Sweet Sixteen Killer’ returns on Halloween night to claim a fourth victim,” reads the synopsis. “Seventeen-year-old Jamie ignores her overprotective mom’s warning and comes face-to-face with the masked maniac and, on the run for her life, accidentally time-travels to 1987, the year of the original killings. Forced to navigate the unfamiliar and outrageous culture of the 1980s, Jamie teams up with her teen mom to take down the killer once and for all, before she’s stuck in the past forever.”
The R-rated film stars Shipka, Olivia Holt, Charlie Gillespie, Lochlyn Munro, Troy L. Johnson, Liana Liberato, Kelcey Mawema, Stephi Chin-Salvo, Anna Diaz, Ella Choi, Jeremy Monn-Djasgnar, Nathaniel Appiah, and Jonathan Potts with Randall Park and Julie Bowen.
Totally Killer is directed by Nahnatchka Khan (Fresh Off the Boat) from a screenplay written by David Matalon, Sasha Perl-Raver, and Jen D’Angelo. The film is produced by Jason Blum, Adam Hendricks, and Greg Gilreath. The project hails from Blumhouse Television.
