The first official trailer for the upcoming thriller House of Darkness has been released, highlighting a struggle that takes place following a date.

House of Darkness stars Justin Long, Kate Bosworth, Gia Crovatin, and Lucy Walters, and is written and directed by Neil LaBute. The film is described as “a seductive thriller,” and comes from distributor Saban Films.

“Driving home to her secluded estate after meeting at a local bar, a player out to score thinks his beautiful, mysterious date will be another casual hook-up,” reads the film’s synopsis. “While getting acquainted, their flirtation turns playful, sexy, and sinister. Hoping to get lucky, his luck may have just run out.”

House of Darkness is set to debut on September 9, 2022, and will be available on digital and on-demand.
