20th Century Studios has released the final trailer for Matthew Vaughn’s long-delayed action prequel The King’s Man, which is currently slated to arrive in theaters this December 22.
The King’s Man trailer, which you can check out below, gives highlight to the organization’s first enemies, who are described as history’s most evil legends. It also features new footage of some of the film’s action sequences.

The King’s Man is the third installment to Matthew Vaughn’s blockbuster spy film series Kingsman, based on Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons’ comic book titled The Secret Service. It stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.
The official synopsis reads: “A collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds as they gather to plot a war to wipe out millions. Now, one man must race against time to stop them. Along the way, viewers can discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King’s Man.”

The prequel is once again directed by Matthew Vaughn from a screenplay he co-wrote with Karl Gajdusek. It is produced by Vaughn, David Reid, and Adam Bohling.
